Nest notes 7/3/16

7/3/16 – Wow, what a busy week it has been! It started with both Harmar eaglets branching and finally letting us see, and it continued with lots of fleaping, quick food drops and self-feeding. Because I got busy doing some research (more on that later), I wound up with a backlog of videos to post. So, I’m gonna go back to just over a week ago and catch you up on some of the happenings from before the branching.

Before they were branching they were doing lots of high fleaping. They have also been taking turns watching the river while the other plays. It is funny looking back a week at how much more we could see of the eaglet games around the still growing leaves, but it is still nice when the wind helps out and moves the branches aside so we can see better.

I promise to add a few more videos soon, after all tomorrow is the eagles favorite holiday!
