Nest notes 7/29/16

7/29/16 – The eaglets are still hanging out near the nest tree, but they have become increasingly difficult to see among the dense vegetation. At the beginning of the month the eaglets hadn’t fledged yet and here are some video clips from then. The eaglets took the opportunity to exercise their wings when the wind picked up. During a light rain they flapped and fleaped about some more. And no worries about the fireworks, here we see they didn’t even flinch during the big boomers! Hr 3 fledged the following afternoon, but not before enjoying a meal!
